EqualiSci is a youth-led group based in the City of Ottawa that strives to create a discrimination-free environment in STEM. We stand for intersectional feminist, anti-racist, and progressive values and empower all students who wish to pursue a career in STEM.

Even though STEM may seem like an entirely objective field, marginalized groups are disproportionately underrepresented in all scientific fields. As young advocates in STEM, we aspire to fight any race-based, gender-based, sexuality-based, or income-based discrimination that hinders the advancement of young scientists. 

We respect all lived experiences of our students and community members and hope that the representation of such valued experiences will help us create an inclusive and diverse environment within our team. 

We are committed to maintaining a dynamic leadership style that grows and improves through feedback and constructive criticism from our members and community partners.
